LONDON, UK – Tamudhi UK, in partnership with the Embassy of Nepal in London, is set to host the 16th Nepali Mela on Sunday, August 24, from 10 AM to 6 PM at Kempton Park, London.

This highly anticipated cultural event is a vibrant celebration of Nepal's rich heritage, designed to connect the second-generation Nepali youth with their roots. The day-long festival will feature a dynamic program of live folk and contemporary music, authentic Nepali cuisine, and a variety of activities for children. Attendees can also look forward to a captivating cultural showcase of traditional attire and ornaments.

The announcement was made at a recent press conference held at Tamudhi UK's headquarters , Mytchett , England . Key organizers, including President Jum Kaji Gurung, General Secretary Bishal Gurung, and Media Secretary SK Gurung, were joined by past presidents and prominent community leaders.

The event will be graced by distinguished guests, including the Chief Guest, His Excellency Chandra Kumar Ghimire, the Nepalese Ambassador to the UK. Other special guests will include Kul Man Ghising, former Managing Director of the Nepal Electricity Authority.

With 15 successful editions already under its belt, Tamudhi UK continues to build cultural bridges and foster unity within the Nepalese community abroad. At the press conference, organizers emphasized their commitment to a high-quality event, stating that there will be no compromise on security, parking management, food safety, and overall health and safety standards.
